Data centers are business IT backbones. Collectively, they form the planet’s communication headquarters. And they are undergoing far-reaching changes. Whereas in recent years companies focused on centralizing IT functions in data centers and setting up efficient business processes, the emphasis has now shifted to optimizing the data centers themselves. Consolidation, cost reduction and environmental concerns now top the list of issues that drive the decision making of IT sector executives.

2012 will mark the second time that CeBIT features the Professional Data Center special display in Hall 11. The display, which is a joint production by Deutsche Messe and WEKA FACHMEDIEN, the publisher of funkschau magazine, will focus on the following keynote themes:
