Frequently, customers need a simple cable-replacement solution for transmitting field signals to control panels or central store. In such cases, computers or sophisticated Fieldbus connectivity is not asked for, but just a bridge between field devices like sensors or actuators and a Control Panel or PLC System. Using cables in such applications become prohibitively costly due to installation and copper itself. So Wireless can be attractive in such case.

With help of our new SG132 product line of the SenzaGate family, we are able to provide customer a very robust “Wireless I/O” Gateway for PLC connectivity.
SenzaGate-SG132 essentially converts the radio signal coming from the SenzaBlocks into analog or digital signal to feed forward them to Control-Panel or PLC or Data-logger. SG132 is bi-directional, hence it can send signals to SenzaBlocks too. Moreover SG132 provides intelligent alarming for threshold detection, low battery at SenzaBlock level and network watchdog monitoring. SenzaNET’s powerful redundant mesh network guarantees reliable data transfer between SenzaBlocks & SG132.
One-time mapping at install time is needed to map SenzaBlocks signals to SG132 IO Lines, so that the operator knows which connectors correspond to each other. This configuration needs a WMSLite configuration software running on a PC. WMSLite communicates with SG132 via an USB link.
Alternatively, completely pre-configured networks are also available where SG132’s and associated SenzaBlocks would be Factory set for specified parameters and delivered.
