The SenzaBlock SB100 module is a highly integrated yet complete wireless module, purpose-built for OEMs such as manufacturers of instruments, field devices, and meters. Its low power Freescale microcontroller and IEEE 802.15.4 transceiver provide long battery life and seamless wireless connectivity. With a size of only 20 by 26 mm, the SB100 module is small enough to fit into virtually any host device. Power input and communications are provided through a 20-pin interface, and a UART and GPIO pins are available for data flow between the host and the module.

SenzaBlock SB110 OEM Subsystem

The SenzaBlock SB110 subsystem consists of the SB100 wireless module, an I/O board, and a choice of personality modules to allow custom analog and digital I/O channel configurations. It provides the equivalent functionality of SB110 series adapters to OEMs wishing to embed wireless I/O capabilities into their product lines, and supports both battery (3 VDC) and line powering (12–24 VDC). The SB110 subsystem is rated for -40ºC to +85ºC operating temperatures, weighs about 35 grams, and has a form factor of 72 by 53 mm.
